Hi, I'm T.J. ✌🏼

I help product teams figure out what they're actually building, and why. Most products don't go wrong because of bad design. They drift away from building what customers actually need. That's the problem I like solving.

I’ve spent over ten years as a product designer across customer experience, healthcare, and event tech, at startups and enterprise companies.

 

Most recently I was at RainFocus, where I led the mobile team, managed a team of designers, and lead design for a number of  products end-to-end.

 

When COVID wiped out in-person events, I helped lead our pivot to a virtual platform in twelve weeks.

Outside of work I write Philosophy & Design a newsletter at the intersection of philosophy, design, and finding meaning in the products we build.
