Hi, I'm T.J. ✌🏼

I’m a product design leader who’s spent the last 10 years helping teams turn messy, ambiguous problems into products people actually want to use. I care about design craft, but even more about the people behind it — the teams I get to work with, the customers we serve, and the impact our work has in the world.

 

My approach is pretty simple: think big, start small, and don’t be afraid to get a little scrappy along the way. I’ve seen how even small, thoughtful design decisions can spark big outcomes — better retention, more engagement, or just saving someone hours of frustration.

Outside of work, I chase curiosities. I write a weekly newsletter called 4 Virtues & Design, where I wrestle with questions from philosophy and design, and how they connect to living a good life. When I’m not writing or designing, you’ll probably find me playing basketball, swinging a golf club, or getting pulled into a game of chase with my kids in the backyard.
